Can This So-Called Supermodel Diet Make You "Hot"?

Could you take diet advice from an outspoken ex-supermodel? Kelly Bensimon is happy to dish it out!

Former model Kelly Bensimon (of "The Real Housewives of New York City") has a new book out, I Can Make You Hot, in which she (no, she's not a dietician) outlines a strict plan to help women get, well, hot.

Her so-called diet promises to help you drop three pounds every five days (which is a lot, and has raised some eyebrows among health experts). While some parts of her diet plan sound a little hard to maintain for long-term, others seem more-or-less doable (see the tip on sleep!). Some of her recommendations, from the book:

*For breakfast, sip two cups of "Kelly Green Juice" (a mix of greens, mint and other veggies).
*Go with brown rice, chicken and veggies for lunch.
*Chew minty gum after meals to prevent overeating.
*Opt for a very lean cut of meat (steak, chicken or shrimp) for dinner, with steamed spinach and a squeeze of lemon.
*Always drink a glass of water spiked with lemon juice after dinner
*Make sure you get 8-10 glasses of water a day.
*Sleep at least 8 hours per night.

Could you go for a diet book like this?
