Panty Creamer Of The Day

 If a movie poster doesn't look like it should be printed on 3x4 glossy card stock and passed out by a twink in a sleeveless shirt in front of Micky's on Santa Monica Blvd., we don't need it!

 The Magic Mike hos obviously get that, because here's the A for effort, low-budget poster for that cinematic bulge party camouflaged as a movie (I'm hoping). This is some Village People night at your mom's favorite club sh!t. This movie better be like an episode of Dancing Bear. (Google that at lunch on your iPhone when you're in the comfort of the last stall in your office bathroom).

A Very Unnecessarily Awesome Lion King Poster

Not sure why 2012 is randomly re-obsessed with The Lion King again, but I’m not complaining. Here, in apropos of nothing in particular, is a really amazing stylized Lion King Eric Tan: poster from illustrator 

Cool! If that had been the actual Lion King poster when the movie first came out, there’s no telling how financially successful that movie could’ve been.

So between Lion King 3-D coming out last year, then The Lion King Rises mashup, plus this poster, and Mufasa literally appearing to us in the Northern Lights, what is the world trying to tell us? STAND UP FOR YOURSELF, FACE YOUR FEARS, FULFILL YOUR DESTINY, AND GO KILL JEREMY IRONS LION. Will do!

The Best Movie Posters Blog You’ll Ever See

We’re all subconsciously aware that all movie posters are basically the same, but we accept it out of comfort, familiarity, and good old fashioned just not really caring. However, for the sake of design-sanity and internet-amusement, someone named Christophe Courtois is currently destroying this phenomenon on this hilarious movie posters blog, which proves with thorough visual certainty just how similar huge groups of movie posters are.

Here’s one of many examples, the “Words Over Dude’s Dark Back” poster cliche:

The site is in French, so I can’t really read the descriptions of the poster-clusters, but I assume it’s just the phrase “Nice try, a-holes” written over and over again.
