Watch Tina Fey Lay Down the Law in the Muppets Most Wanted Trailer

Nothing says "this day's lookin' up" like a brand-new glimpse of the Muppets, and this is a big one: The first trailer for Muppets Most Wanted just dropped. It features Ty Burrell sporting a pencil mustache and doing a delightfully vague accent, Salma Hayek looking flustered, Ricky Gervais not looking flustered, and Tina Fey looking improbably chic, considering she plays a retro-commando type. But, understandably, none of these celebs can upstage the moment where some Mupps belt out "Moves Like Jagger." Watch:

The Muppets Take Twilight-hattan

The viral marketing for the new Muppets movie has been relentless and exhausting, but their latest stunt may be their best yet – no age group can truly say no to Muppet Twilight Posters:

TINY FUPPETS: Like Muppets, But Fuppets. And Tiny.

Who are the Tiny Fuppets? They’re like muppets, only fuppets, and Spanish Portuguese. How to describe them? Well hmm. They’re tiny. Really tiny. They’re the Muppet Babies, if the Muppet Babies were on a Mexican Brazilian cable access channel. 

But really, do we ever think of the plight of these Tiny Fuppets? I mean, they’re so tiny. Poor Fuppets. Poor Little Fuppets. I mean Kermot is so tiny, he can’t even wear dog clothes, as you will soon learn via the helpful subtitles.

New Muppets Trailer Parodies Green Lantern

Here’s another trailer for the upcoming Jason Segel Muppets movie, The Muppets, parodying the Green Lantern trailer. But it also parodies trailers in general. And it also acknowledges that it’s parodying different trailers and that they’re overdue for a real trailer. Which they seem aware of. But they’re aware that they’re aware.

‘Spiderman’ Gets The Muppet Treatment

Spiderman: Turn Off The Dark is now officially on Broadway, and so far, nobody has died. Original “directator” Julie Taymor is gone, which apparently means that cast members have stopped breaking bones because there’s no longer someone commanding them to do flying cartwheels off of balconies or something. What a nightmare.
Anyway, it’s probably very good now (?), but even the Muppets are wont to poke fun at the show as it enters the theatrical arena for real. In fact, seeing Grover dressed up as “SpiderMonster” is definitely at least on par than seeing Spiderman, so here’s a worthy alternative for those of you who don’t want to shell out a hundred bucks for the real thing.

It's The Muppets Trailer!

If you went to see Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Care Bears (Why isn't that a real movie?) this weekend then it's more than likely that you watched the sneaky teaser trailer for the new Muppets movie. The trailer starts off as looking like another horribly shitty romantic comedy called Green With Envy that should star Kate Hudson and Ashton Kutcher instead (headline from the future: Kate Hudson and Ashton Kutcher sign on to Green with Envy) but then it gets hijacked by Muppets.

It's a little too soon to know how I truly feel about this, but my first comment is: Why does Miss Piggy have bangs again?! I prefer my Miss Piggy bang-less. Oh, well. Bitch probably got sick of Xtina stealing her look so she decided to do something different. Xtina will undoubtedly have bangs again next week.
