Your Guide to Your Imaginary World Cup Boyfriends

The World Cup, especially the 2014 World Cup, has sparked a newfound interest in soccer for me, and it's all thanks to (what else?) hot guys. And some of these fellas have a resemblance to other hot guys I love. Here's a quick guide. Iknow these aren't perfect matches looks-wise, but you can't deny there's definite similarities there...

If you like Cristiano Ronaldo, then you'll like... Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal). Who am I to mess with perfection? I don't watch soccer, and even I know who he is. He was voted the hottest World Cup player by Hot or Not users, for obvious reasons.

If you like Zac Efron, then you'll like... Olivier Giroud (France). Hello, swoop-y hair, abs for days, and maj cheekbone.

If you like Ian Somerhalder, then you'll like... Javi Martinez (Spain). So Javi doesn't have Ian's baby blues, but the tousled hair and chiseled features are totally there.

If you like Jason Derulo, then you'll like... Glen Johnson (England). Sure, it's not a perfect match-up, but you can't deny that Glen and Jason both have rock-star-worthy abs and winning smiles. [Insert "Talk Dirty" joke here?]

HOLY CRAP: Tiny 9-Year-Olds Have A Giant Hockey Brawl

Here’s a shocking (but kind of cute!) video of two Under-10 youth hockey teams in Kazakhstan whose postgame handshake line quickly devolves into a really massive brawl. On the plus side, it’s nice for Kazakhstan to finally get noticed for something other than Borat or being really frustrating in Risk.

 

Not to judge, but don’t people in Kazakhstan know ANYTHING about sportsmanship? The DADS are supposed to fight each other to the death in the stands in front of all the children because one said some innocuous offhand comment. That’s how youth sports are supposed to work. This is just wrong:

Condura Skyway Marathon 2011Experience

Last Sunday, woke up early to hit the road for my first Condura Skyway Marathon: A Run for the Dolphins.
I and my friends joined the 10K category. I have to be absolutely truth­ful, I don’t, for one sec­ond con­sider myself a run­ner of more than 500 meters. How­ever I gave myself a goal and I was going to accom­plish that and  I'm proud to say that  I did it! Ooh Yeah:)

At the start of the race, a 10-minute group warm up were executed amongst all participant. We had jumping jacks and stretching exercises to prevent cramps and maintain our stamina  Here are some pictures I've taken (while running of course) during the Condura event.

What I took away from this experience is that I have to give run­ners a lot more credit than what I have given them in the past. It's easy to push your­self when you are with a team of peo­ple. I also learned how to pace myself, breath prop­erly, and put myself in a bet­ter mindset.  Over­all, It was truly a per­sonal accom­plish­ment and an inter­est­ing expe­ri­ence. Looking forward for my next race:)
