Watch This Yoda Cup Noodles Commercial, You Will
Here’s a new commercial from Japan (great start to any blog post) featuring Yoda intensely levitating and boiling a Nissin Cup Noodles, along with the strangely non-punctuated tagline “BOIL JAPAN”. It’s not quite as magical as Jamiroquai, but it makes about as much sense.

What the What? These Underpants Claim to Help You Burn Calories
There are shoes that purport to burn extra calories. There are pieces of clothing that do the same. But--ladies!--underpants?...

These are not the actual calorie-burning underpants in question.
Calorie Shaper is an undergarment offered in Japan. It has a built-in resin-coated honeycomb spring that is supposed to help you burn extra calories doing normal day-to-day activities when you wear it.Fascinating, for sure. But the infomercial also boasts a fabulously '80s-ish (?) song, diagrams and equations that I can't fully grasp because I am too hypnotized by the choreography. Seriously, try to watch it just once.
