The cat who's "wondering where it all went wrong" basically made it impossible for me to feel even an ounce of sadness today. So good. I want to watch it again right meow.

Game Of Thrones Valentines: You Kiss, Or You Die
In honor of Valentine’s Day and the far more important Game Of Thrones Season 2 Premiere Day (April 1st), check out these Game Of Thrones Valentine’s Day cards from illustrator Chris Bishop:
Cuuuute! Much more adorable than the standard Dothraki classic, “I want to murder other dudes for the right to rape you from behind, causing the person watching this to begin questioning the sanity of their friend who strongly recommended this series to them but seriously stick with it, it’s the best.”

The Vday Challenge
Wait, did you know Valentine’s Day is coming up? Unless you’ve been hiding in a bunker waiting for the end of the world.. you’re probably aware that it’s time to pick up the romance and—just maybe—unleash your inner freak. Kids, this post is for adults only :)

I’m not much of a Valentine’s Day girl (although if there’s a reason to celebrate, I’m there). But if there’s any time to introduce a sexy whipped cream, strawberries and Champagne extravaganza to your guy, this is it. I’m not messing around, here. I’m talking Nine 1/2 weeks sexy.
This Vday take an impromptu trip to the bedroom, and ask your guy to wait for you to return. This is where it gets good (and possibly a little cheesy, but it’s Valentine’s Day, after all). Change into a sexy little get up you’ve set aside, get the strawberries, whipped cream and Champagne from the fridge, and head back to the boudoir with all the fixings. Ask him to close his eyes while you feed him delicious morsels with your fingers and give him sips of the bubbly. With his eyes closed, his senses will be that much more intense. If you don’t mind a little mess, experiment with smearing the whipped cream on his chest and stomach. Then let him watch as you slowly lick it off his skin. I can guarantee if he wasn’t one for sugary treats in the past, this may be just the thing to turn him into a sweet tooth.
Doesn't this sound like fun? Who's gonna give it a try?

3 Naughty, No-Cost Valentine's Day Gifts He Really Wants
For some of us, just figuring out what to do on Valentine’s Day can be stressful.
For others, the problem lies in what to give. How do you buy something for someone that isn’t a cliché? My answer: you don’t. You buy them nothing. The best Valentine’s gifts are created. They’re also naughty, thoughtful and much better than any box of chocolates.
Hello there ;)
Sexy Note
Can’t afford a sexy boat? Write him a sexy note. If this were the 1950s you could place it in his lunchbox as he went off to work, but unless you have access to a time machine (and if you, you really should be using your it to right human rights wrongs, not performing your romantic experiments) leaving it somewhere where he’ll stumble on to it. Maybe it can be something instructive, tied around your neck or waist with string. Maybe it can be delivered to his work. It could be a command (“get your clothes off so I can…”), a question (“will you spank me?”), an instruction (“Step 1: remove tie. Step 2: tie my hands to the bed with it”), or really whatever you want. Have at it, sexy Shakespeares.
Haircut
Not the kind you get at a salon. Whether you do a fun shave job that will make his own hair stand on end, or go to the waxer for some South American styling, this little trim should say one thing: Surprise! How you reveal your new do is up to you. Over dinner, you could give him a little preview during a private moment. Or maybe when he comes home, you’re lying on the bed wearing only red ribbon and he gets to unwrap you.
Trying New Things
I don’t mean take up crafting. That thing you know he wants to try but has been too shy to ask for? That fun thing you think about every time you have private time with you and your wee down there lady friend? What better excuse to open up the doors of experimentation than Valentine’s Day? And if it turns out that light bondage wasn’t for you…well…at least there’s chocolate.
What would you like for Valentine’s Day? What will it cost?

3 Valentine's-Day-Worthy Girl-Next-Door Black Eyeliner Looks (Yes, They Exist!)
If "dainty and flirty" is your makeup goal for the 14th, you're going to want to bookmark this post for future reference. I've got three really sweet little girl-next-door-y black eyeliner looks that are both of those things. Let's take a look!
Idea 1: You can go for a hint of cat eye like Lauren Conrad.
Idea 2: Try a a touch on top and bottom with a little shimmer like Reese Witherspoon.
Or idea 3: Throw everyone off and go liquid black on top and plum on bottom like Nicole Richie.
These three have totally different vibes, but they all somehow still fall in the girl-next-door category. So cute! Which would you go for?

The Dos and Don’ts of Chocolate
Regardless of your hopes, expectations, or reservations about Valentine's Day, chocolate has long been a favorite gift for lovers. Since katatapos lang ng VDAY, let me share these interesting facts about chocolate’s surprising health benefits and how you can eat it to your advantage.
*DO be choosey about your chocolate. To get all of the good-for-you benefits of chocolate and cocoa, you have to know what you’re eating. Ideally, you should pick dark chocolate that contains at least 70 percent cocoa—the higher the cocoa percentage, the more health benefits the chocolate contains. The label on your chocolate should also say non- or lightly alkalized or non-dutched. And if you’re eating the stuff for health benefits, skip white and milk chocolate, which don’t have as many of the good-for-you flavanols the dark variety does.
*DON’T worry if you haven’t developed a taste for the dark stuff yet. You can develop a palate for the dark stuff by gradually increasing the percentage of cocoa in your chocolates and can even find some milk chocolates with 50 percent cocoa or more.
* DON’T forget about portion control. A little bit of chocolate is all you need. One study found that as few as 30 calories of flavanol-rich dark chocolate lowered blood pressure. Enjoy a couple of individually wrapped squares of your favorite chocolate to keep the calories in check.
*DON’T turn to chocolate if you’re looking for an aphrodisiac. Men have long believed that giving a woman chocolate will put her in the mood to get busy. Hate to break it to them, but scientists have not been able to prove that chocolate increases sexual desire in women.
* DO drink hot cocoa to keep skin young. Cocoa beans are filled with antioxidants that combat inflammation from free radicals, which can leave skin puffy and red. When cocoa beans are converted into chocolate bars, they can lose much of their antioxidants, which is why she recommends drinking cocoa with skim milk. Plus, it’s a great mood boosting food.

* But DO forgive yourself for splurging. Eating that whole heart-shaped box of chocolates isn’t the worst thing ever. A 500-calorie indulgence amounts to only about a two-ounce weight gain—easy enough to work off in a single gym session or by skipping your usual Venti Vanilla Frappuccino with whip the next morning.

*DON’T worry too much about the caffeine in chocolate. Even dark chocolate won’t keep you up all night. A 100-gram chocolate bar (made with 70 to 85 percent cocoa) has 80mg of caffeine, as compared with the average cup of coffee with 95mg of the stay-awake substance. And that’s assuming you eat the entire 605-calorie bar in one setting—also a DON’T.
*DO eat chocolate for your heart. High cholesterol is a big contributor to heart disease—the number one killer of women. A low-cholesterol diet tends to limit eggs, meat, cheese (you know, the yummy stuff), but chocolate should stay on the list of heart-healthy foods to eat! A study found that substances derived from antioxidant-rich cocoa powder may contribute to a reduction in LDL cholesterol (the bad kind) and an elevation in HDL cholesterol (the good kind).
*DON’T blame chocolate for your cavities. Your mom was wrong about this one. Chocolate may actually help prevent cavities and plaque build-up on the teeth.
*DO use chocolate to scrub your skin. The antioxidants and cocoa butter in chocolate help moisturize and promote healthy skin-cell development, keeping skin soft and supple, if you’re looking for a DIY spa treatment.

Valentine's Weekend at Tomas Morato: Food Fiesta Non Stop Dance Music
My (unintentional) walking trip along Tomas Morato last Saturday (Feb 12) led me to the street food fiesta that is Banchetto. Sorry if the pictures came out a bit dark, it is a night food fair after all :)
A large portion of the road got closed off as early as 1 pm in preparation for what they called "Banchetto Food Fiesta Non Stop Dance Music" scheduled from 5pm to 12 midnight. Three intersections were impassable to all vehicles - Scout Madrinan, Scout Borromeo and Scout Bayoran. As it was, it's already 1:30 am of February 13, and the crowd were still having a ball.
Banchetto is the Italian word for feast
The smell alone was enough to fill up my big appetite
Yum Yum
There were lots of food and drinks sold in makeshifts, complete with barbecue grille and different dishes. It was a Valentine's weekend mixed with Fiesta celebration with those performers throwing out popular songs from the 80's. Three bands gave their best to make this event memorable with their performances - Flintstones and The Gang, Route 70 and Rockin' Revival.
Party like a Rockstar :)
Check out this video of a dancing baked tahong vendor..
Kudos to the organizers! Sana maulet :)
