- A scraggly, waggly beard. The fact Clark Kent, the most clean-cut of all superhero alter egos, now has a luxurious face pelt suggests some moderate-to-heavy brooding. It’s all very Bruce Wayne at the beginning of The Dark Knight Rises.
- Paralyzing self-doubt. “The world is too big, Mom,” Clark frets. Guess that explains the need for a Fortress of Solitude. Also, the trailer opens with baby Superman asking his mom for help. Can it get more emo than that? Somehow, yes!
- Powerless father figure. Did Kevin Costner just tell little Clark that he should have let a bus full of school children drown? What kind of bunkum is this? No wonder that poor alien is so mopey.
- It’s an origin story. Gotta have an origin story, baby! There hasn’t been a brooding superhero yet that didn’t get a film dedicated to his origin story.
- Ruminations on the meaning of a man’s life. “You just have to decide what kind of man you want to grow up to be, Clark. Whoever that man is, he’s going to change the world.” Oh sorry, are we not supposed tear up over a Man of Steel trailer? They wouldn’t have made it so poignant if they didn’t want us to cry! See you at the theaters on June 14!

Check Out The Online Dating Profiles of Superman and Wonder Woman! (Did You Know They're a Thing Now?)
I don't know if you guys heard, but America has a new power
couple--Superman and Wonder Woman are officially an item. In honor of
the occasion, we've got some information on their relationship plus some
superhero statistics on love and kissing.
Yep, that’s right. Sorry Lois Lane,
Superman’s got a new ladyfriend. Their first kiss will be featured in
Justice League #12 tomorrow, and in honor of the pairing,
Match.com teamed up with DC Comics to provide some background
information on the twosome and the results of their new First Kiss
Survey.
Since the superheroes are a thing, they won’t be needing their dating profiles anymore. In fact, Match.com’s Chief Scientific advisor says that “As a couple, they are a classic match of a high-testosterone male and the high-estrogen female and they have many cultural and biological traits that will fuel their romance.” But you can check out the retired profiles for inspiration for your own:

Superman is interested in volunteering, air travel, truth, justice, and the American Way, and while he likes meeting new people, he also claims to enjoy his “pretty sweet man cave!”

Wonder Woman completed the Amazonian Trials, likes romance novels about vampires, and appears to have a thing for pets: “I had a mythical winged horse once but it magically turned into my invisible jet—er, cats. I like cats.”
Funny, right? As for the First Kiss statistics, here’s a summary of a few stats:

- Out of all superheroes, women would prefer to kiss Superman (76.2%), while men were more into Catwoman (47.3%) than Wonder Woman (27.3%). Both sexes agree that if they were a superhero, the ideal location for a first kiss would be while flying in the air.
- Leaving the superheroes out of it, most people (81.7% of women and 91% of men) will take a second chance even if the first kiss was bad.
- Only 40.8% of men and 31.9% of women think a kiss is appropriate on a first date.
- And as we already suspected, bad breath is the number one first kiss turnoff.

The "Man Of Steel" Teaser Trailer Is With Us
And that there is pretty much all the Superman you're getting in this sh!t. The clean laundry blowing in the wind, Americana doggies and the adorable Henry Cavill playing Superman working undercover on Wicked Tuna. As a friend said - "nothing happens, and then he flies."
Er, here they are. Kevin Costner does the voice-over for the first one. There's an alternate version with Russell Crowe under it. I guess it depends on which voice you want to fap (pardon the lingo hehe) to? They're both pretty boring..

The Only Henry Cavill GIF You’ll Ever Need
Meet your new Superman, Henry Cavill, formerly of Tudors fame, who has spent the last year or so eating old timey dumbells in an effort to buff up for the role as the Man of Steel himself. Judging by the above photo, Cavill put on about a pec-tacular amount of muscle and is taking a cue from the Jon Hamm School of Body Hair, not a joke but an actual school where men walk around shirtless and talk about cheating on their wives.
